WELCOME
April 2012
If you are interested in discovering what happens behind the scenes and some real life framing experiences then come along to a talk I am giving. On the night I will be explaining how a frame can enhance the visual experience of viewing artwork. This will take place at the Bastin Hall on 3 May under the auspices of the Exmouth Art Group. A small charge will be made.
This is the third incarnation of the website and is a dramatic change from what's been seen before with an overall monochrome 'look'. The original colour photograph was modified to black and white which helps to create a more dramatic nostalgic image.
Have a look at the 'Examples' page for some new framing techniques. Why not brighten up your home for Spring with some new framed pictures?
You may have noticed a change of address but it's 'Business as Usual' and looking forward to hearing from past as well as new customers.

NOVEMBER 2011
To start off the New Year there is a Calendar Page with essential points to consider when framing. The Calendar can be printed if you wish. The images were taken at the Bridgewater Carnival on Friday 4 November this year.
The Image has changed and the colours used in the website reflect this change. From the feedback we received on the launch of the new website certain other elements have also been improved. For instance, the navigation buttons have moved to the top of every page so that they are always accessible.
One of the latest framing ideas and very contemporary is using acrylic for framing. Acrylic frames are now available in lots of different sizes and finishes. See an example on the Examples Page and ask for details.

SEPTEMBER 2011
I hope that you enjoy the new layout for the website and find it easy to navigate. These are the main changes:
this blog will allow me to tell of the latest developments in the framing world and with this website;
there is now an email link on the home page for easy access;
there is a rolling display on the home page of recent work completed;
there is now a links section. So, for example, this will allow you to access the professional body I am a qualified member of and understand the requirements necessary to be a professional framer;
we have added a new page which explains how the workshop allows me to effectively deal with any framing requirements;
I have expanded the page of examples to provide details of specific framing jobs
-
The quotes page has been changed to help you better communicate how you want to effectively display your artwork.
The website will be updated on a regular basis -
